National Statistical Committee is waiting for users to submit their proposals on the format of publications to be published in the forthcoming National Population and Housing Census

The National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic and its subordinate organizations are currently working on organizing and conducting a general Population and Housing Census 2020. The Population Census is a large-scale event conducted by statisticians of the world upon the recommendations of the UN every 10 years.
The Population and Housing Census of the Kyrgyz Republic 2020 round will be held in March 2020 (as of March 23), in remote and inaccessible areas of the country in April 2020.
As a result, the National Statistical Committee will have to carry out a set of events related to the processing of data, analytical synthesis and publication of the results for a wide range of users.
At the moment, the National Statistical Committee is reviewing the format and structure of publications of the forthcoming census results. The previous National Population and Housing Censuses 1999 and 2009 had only paper publications. The National Statistical Committee is now able to produce statistical collections in an electronic version with a large number of Excel spreadsheets, as well as booklets containing the main results with infographics. Some publications are still expected to be distributed in hard copy.
In this regard, the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic proposes taking part in the discussion of the most convenient publication format for dissemination. These publication will be published on the basis of the results of the forthcoming Population and Housing Census.
